Melinda & Vern {J* workshop models}

If you happen to be my friend on facebook then you have probably seen me ecstatic about getting to go to California and go to the most amazing photography workshop EVER! Jasmine Star is fabulous! so genuine, caring, and helpful! I have learned so much in such a short amount of time from her and from all these other amazing photographers here with me. I'm so excited and nervous as I think about the changes and forward movements I'm wanting to pursue in this little photo business of mine- trying to figure out what sets me apart and defines who i am. so just to warn you- changes are coming... hopefully soon =)

Melinda and Vern were our models for the small shooting part of the workshop... It was so challenging shooting with over 20 other photographers to get a shot that fits within 'my style' when I'm not doing any of the posing or location choosing but I also really enjoyed it! I felt like it was a really neat experience and forced myself to do what it takes to get some good pictures. Melinda and her hubby of two years were completely and utterly awesome- it was so hot right in the middle of the day and they just looked fabulous! Vivian Tran with All Made Up Team did such a beautiful job with Melinda's hair and makeup! and then she even gave us some free samples! so excited to try it out!
