Happy New Year blog readers!!
I am so glad to be home from a several day trip to central Florida visiting family. Our New Years Eve consisted of driving for 11 hrs with a 2 yr old! sounds like fun huh?? lets just say Im glad to be home on the first day of 2010.
There is exciting things going on behind the scenes that I cant wait to share with all of you!
For the next couple of weeks I am taking off from shoots-trying to get everything in place and also get ready for the Bridal Market on January 16th... all of you brides to be need to come visit all of us photogs that will be there! the Bridal Market is always a good place to see what Wichita Falls Photographers and vendors have to offer. I will be giving away a few things so come by and see me!

also keep checking back for some new things that will be going on... I was hoping I would be able to reveal it all by today but things just never work out that way =) soon very soon though!

A couple of weeks ago Sal contacted me and wanted to surprise his wife with a photo shoot for Christmas. Im thinking thats the best gift ever! Thankfully the nasty weather held off long enough for us to have a beautiful morning of photos! Aislinn is one of the most beautiful baby girls but of course she is when she comes from such beautiful parents! Sal's parents came along to get some fun pictures with their little grandbaby and I just adore all the pictures with the two of them! married 35 yrs!

Yesterday was my one photo shoot for the weekend.. its slowly dying down after the Christmas rush! and i must say it feels quite nice... I still haven't finished my Christmas shopping though.. i need to get on that!
We mainly did Armando's Senior pictures but got plenty with the siblings as well. I had a good time as they kept me laughing the entire time! Tanir is a Cheerleader at Old High... and shes got some major jumping skills! we got some sweet shots! We made sure to get some images of Armando and his baby =)

I started to get really nervous on Monday when the high of the day was reached early morning... We had rescheduled several times due to weather already and I hated to have to do it again! but we kept moving forward and it was a tad chilly but not miserable so we made it happen! Meet the fabulous Brogdon family! They are all so amazing! I had the honor of photographing Jaci's wedding back in August and now they called me to do their large family picture! they called and told me they had this crazy idea..am i shocked-no b/c they always have such fun and unique ideas! They wanted to do an 'old west' themed family picture! with the mom's miniature horses and a little covered wagon and the whole getup! Jaci wore her mom's wedding dress from the 70's and baby Ella wore the grandmother's baby gown. It was awesome! My favorite part was the real campfire- they went all out!

I have had a very nice weekend!! for one the weather was fabulous and my hubby was actually off on Saturday and Sunday which means... Friday night I got a ton of orders done =) and so Saturday and Sunday I was forced to leave the laptop closed on the dinning room table. It was so refreshing to take a break from the computer part of my job although I got to photograph 2 super fun shoots over the last 2 days... the computer part is not so fun at all but well worth it in order to do what I love oh so much!
Saturday's shoot was a breath of fresh air.... David Brown who is a singer song writer out of Graham, Tx and currently living in Los Angeles, hired me to shoot some images for his album coming out very soon! It was a lot of fun having music playing while I photographed. I could definitely get used to that! Hes amazing and has such a huge support system. I cant wait to see everything in completion.
It was nice to take a step back from what my normal portrait shoots are like! Normally I stick to shaded areas or back lit for pictures but I loved the direct sun for most of these images. Heres David serenading me as I photographed him!

Sunday afternoon I got to photograph this fabulous family full of furry children! I was so excited when I was looking through the pictures and found this one... everyone looking happily =) After we got the kiddos we went downtown for some fun pictures! I love hearing how couples meet and fall in love... and their story had some similarities to my own love story... started out as friends... said "i dont like him that way..... but secretly do" and the rest goes from there! found this fun chair just in the alley way...

Yesterday was finally a beautiful day!! and it seems to be the only one in the next few days as well... after re-scheduling twice-we finally made it happen! little Adam is just the cutest and those big blue eyes are oh soo pretty! I couldnt believe how many good ones we got from this session- I had a hard time picking my favs to blog.. too much cuteness from this gorgeous family!

At the end of the shoot.... i was standing around talking to Jenny and daddy had put Adam into his truck.. the shots i got from this were soo funny and adorable!

I am so thankful for Dale and Ashley who drove in from Dallas for their family pictures... they were unbelievably strong and brave in this horrible freezing weather- Im not a fan!!! but they made it a lot of fun! and even at the end when we had had enough of the cold-they changed to even colder clothes! thats some dedication to some fun and cute pictures! =) we used this great spot that blocked the wind from us a little bit so it wasnt as cold...they are so cute together =) married for 2 1/2 yrs...

Renee and Laura wanted some pictures of the two of them for their parents... and due to timing they decided to go ahead and brave the absolutely freezing weather to get some fun pictures of the sisters! so yesterday morning we set out and couldn't wait to get back in the car to warm up while driving to a different spot- but we had a good time and got some good shots-they were full of 'im freezing cold' laughs! Sunday I got to see this beautiful little girl again- and my how she has grown up in a short 3 months! At her newborn session we had a hard time catching anything but tears but this shoot was all smiles and laughs!! Im so thankful her mommy knew best to go ahead and keep the shoot as scheduled but just do it inside their home instead of braving the cold or rescheduling. I love what we got!

These last ones are my favorite!! I love being able to capture how they interact with her!! so beautiful! its also so fun to see how people end up showing off their pictures. This is a wall they have showing off their maternity pictures! love it!

Craig and Janssen were married this past Saturday and it couldn't have been a more perfect day! I could probably use the word perfect every other sentence but Im going to try real hard not to...They had planned out the day in a way that is a photographers dream come true!!! They started the day getting ready at the Marriott Hotel and then we went over to the Marty Leonard Community Chapel for Janssen and Craig to do a 'First Look'. We took a few pictures and then did ALL of the family pictures. After a BEAUTIFUL marriage ceremony the bridal party all went downtown Fort Worth for some fun pictures and then ending at the Colonial Country Club

for a very elegant and beautiful reception.

The Wedding and Reception were so touching... I can specifically remember tearing up/crying at two separate spots! At the end of the ceremony Janssen surprised Craig with a letter she had written when she was 14 to the man she would someday marry. I didn't get to read it but from Craig's tears it had to be something very heartfelt!! (pictures are in the slide show) and during the reception Janssen's sister gave a very tear jerking speech!! I love that my job allows me to document and capture all the emotions that go into the biggest day of people's lives!

Craig and Janssen chose to do the 'First Look' outside the Chapel to get more of a variety of pictures..So many thanks to Lauren Miller for joining me in Fort Worth to be my second shooter for the day! She captured this image below along with so many other fabulous shots! Craig is the perfect example of why doing a 'first look' is the best choice for brides and grooms! Not only did he have a very genuine excited face to see his bride earlier in the day... at the aisle he had such sweet tears! The ceremony was so personal and full of happy tears! Lauren got quite a few shots of Janssen tearing up as she repeated her vows during the ring exchange but I thought this one showed the true happy tears that they were! Like I said earlier- after the ceremony the bridal party went to downtown Fort Worth because there was about an hour and half before they were to be introduced at the Reception... Such a perfect idea!! As the guests were making their way there and enjoying cocktails we had a blast walking around downtown!
As I was going through images I found this one Lauren captured and I just had to post it! Janssen is such a gorgeous bride!

Janssen & Craig- Yall are an amazing couple and it was such an honor to be such a huge part of your day and capture the love that is so evident between you!!

Wednesday evening I had the most fun with Kelli and Jared! The way they treat each other and interact is so hilarious! I was so excited when they told me they were bringing the old fire truck- how fun is that??? normally its just brides that are using a fire truck so it was neat to switch it up a bit! I had a hard time picking out which of my favorites to blog- I just couldn't get enough of their facial expressions and laughing-everyone knows I love me some laughing pictures! and they laughed constantly!

I just had to post this picture...with a little background story-

Kelli is pregnant! =) and we all know that being called fat or our weight coming into the conversation does not make us happy campers... Jared made the mistake of making a comment about her new weight from the dr. apt earlier that day and so this picture was taken right after he said something and then was trying to make up for it- classic!

and they made up =)Thanks for being so patient through Thanksgiving to see your pictures! Yall are awesome!!

Here's a sneak peek from Kelli and Jared's annual family photo shoot Wednesday night.... I wish I would have had time to get all my favs edited and posted before traveling for Thanksgiving but I wanted to at least give yall a sneak peek. They are always so much fun... and Jared insisted they do some jumping pictures... Kelli is pregnant- so we let Jared do most of the jumping! =)

I'm really enjoying a couple of days off from shooting but yes I am still working on Thanksgiving-sad I know.... the rest of the family is watching football- and honestly its just not my thing... so I thought i would send out a Happy Thanksgiving to all my loyal blog readers... Karen and Asa were married this past weekend! when we originally started talking about their big day I got soo excited when Asa was telling me how they wanted to do the first look and their wedding was going to be outside and they had 24 people in their bridal party! yes you read that correctly 24 peeps in their party 12 girls and 12 guys! Their wedding was very special and unique and I loved being able to be a part of it! Please click here to see the rest of my favorite images from their wedding- I had way too many!
Asa and Karen chose to do a First Look which gave us a lot of time to do some fun pictures of the two of them.. I loved watching them interact..and their expressions towards each other-so full of love and laughter! I say that all the time but that is my absolute favorite thing to watch when photographing couples! He said lets spin you around so I can take a look.... so sweet- admiring his bride! Karen and Asa each had their own bridesmaids and groomsmen- I thought that was really neat!Asa and his friends always have a contest at weddings to see who has the best jump... so we had to do some fun jumping pictures... Im so thankful for my hubby Chris who came along with me...he did a great job and I love the angle he got of the jumping on the left side. Asa, who is very well organized and basically did most of the organizing of the wedding forgot his vows he had written =) so minutes before the ceremony a friend was reading them to him off of his computer at home.. I love when couples write their own vows... they are always so meaningful!Passionate kiss and then dancing down the aisle =) I had the best time at their wedding... and it was obvious all their guests did too... there was more dancing on the dance floor than i have seen all yr at weddings! the cops even showed up when the groomsmen set off fireworks as the couple drove away =) good times!!

Friday evening I got to spend some time with Kathryn and Daniel... We had met up the week before to talk about their engagement pictures and I knew from watching them talk that we were going to have a fabulous session!! They were up for anything!! I loved watching them interact and laugh together! theres nothing more refreshing than to photograph a couple that will laugh and joke around together! Daniel is so sweet with Kathryn! every time he looked at her you could see the love!!Loved the motorcycle!! anytime a couple brings something that shows off their uniqueness is so much fun!!Kathryn said that it was such a huge part of who he is.. that now its a big part of the two of them! and played a special part in their engagement story =) Thanks guys for choosing to use my for your engagement pictures!! Little Miss Ashlyn was so much fun yesterday evening... She showed up wanting nothing to do with taking pictures but luckily we were able to convince her all she had to do was play... so play is what she did for the hr.. and I- I just got to capture it! Yesterday evening I had so much fun with Tanner, Jammie, and Tucker! This was the first time to do family pictures outside of a studio and I think they really enjoyed it!! Tucker is soo adorable and just like every little boy-everywhere! I had a blast chasing him around and catching his happy self laughing and smiling! He was loving the freedom and being able to run everywhere! I had a REALLY hard time picking my favorites.. I had to keep narrowing, and narrowing down... I love my job!! I love these next two... i had to post them both! I love how Tanner is looking at Jammie on the left one... I didnt even ask him to look at her.. I just caught it... and its so sweet!

This evening (technically yesterday as it is 12:30 a.m.) I got to meet a beautiful little family! baby Meritt did so good for her first professional photos.. I really like the age 5 months.. shes smiling and laughing. if only I could re-tell how Tara gets her to smile in a way that would really portray it! I was seriously laughing... i cant think of the songs at the moment but she would sing these certain adult songs and little Meritt would just be smiling and laughing! it was way too cute!
for those of you that might not be my close friends.. I have a baby fever bad-and i want a sweet baby girl more than anything! I know God is bigger than my plans and He will give us what He knows is best...but I have baby girl fever pretty badly! and little Meritt did not help the cause =) isnt that the sweetest thing how shes looking at her daddy! Apparently Meritt likes to spit up all the time... so i left the spit up- I love it! my Aydin spit up all the time before he was 1... and its just a sweet little reminderThanks Tara for getting me to take your first family photos- it was such a pleasure getting to meet you and your gorgeous family!

I have had the privilege of photographing this wonderful family multiple times and it just becomes so easy when they know me and know what to expect when we are taking pictures, how i do things and so forth... we found the perfect spot with perfect lighting... This morning I got to meet this little guy- how stinkin cute is he!! I was thrilled when Lindzi said she would like to do them in her home (its my favorite way to do newborn pictures).. Her and Patrick have the best landscaped and perfectly decorated home!
theres nothing better than seeing new parents with their new sweet little baby- I love watching them interact! baby Reid was so wide-eyed... only one sleeping baby picture =) He was so good and content- if only every baby shoot was this easy and fun... might get boring- haha j/k! every baby has its own personality and I love it all!

I love this little guy so incredibly much!! Yesterday while we were getting our family pictures taken I was just watching him play and laugh-I am so blessed by having him in my life!!!!
Hes always on the go... but tonight-I got to hold him for a little bit. In lue of Rider/Old High week the fireworks outside our house scared him and it took about 45 minutes for me to get him back to sleep... as I was rocking him I was just soaking it all in-how i dont get to rock him anymore or just hold him... it was nice to stop.

Sunday I had the honor of photographing Josh and Chandal's Ring Ceremony... They were officially married back in February because Josh was supposed to get deployed- he ended up not but Sunday was their big wedding and ring ceremony. The Ceremony and Reception took place at Lakewood Theater in Dallas, TX. It was such a unique and creative place to have a wedding- the guests sat in the balcony and a live feed of the wedding party on stage was shown on the screen behind them.. There was popcorn bags and candy for guests to enjoy while viewing the Princess Bride before the ceremony began and Star Wars while guests were eating at the reception. They used the venue to its fullest extent! There are so many fun details that I could go on and on about that truly made this celebration uniquely Chandal and Josh. Their personalities poured out from every little detail. You can see more of their big day by clicking here to see the slideshow! Chandal and Josh also opted to see each other before the ceremony- which I love love love!! We were able to have a fun and relaxed (not rushed) shoot of just the two of them! and we also had plenty of time to have some fun with the entire wedding party! if your unsure about deciding to do a 'first look' check out the info link above and read the section about doing one! They decided it would be the best decision for them because Chandal really wanted a true expression from Josh without 100 people looking at him.. and the ability to spend time together alone! popcorn is my new favorite thing to have for the exit... how fun and messy is that.. So its about midnight on a Friday night... Im spending it in my usual way: watching a movie on the couch with my laptop..working away. Im dying to tell all of you blog readers whats been going on behind the scenes here-but I cant YET! come January (fingers crossed) there will be all things new.
Im so anxious! but even more excited and wish I could reveal it all now! but you will just have to wait like i am =)

Im up way too late like a crazy lady getting my Christmas Card designs that I purchased ready for all of you past, present and future clients to see. If your interested in seeing the designs shoot me an email and I will be sure to send you the link.. I dont want to post them on here b/c well I want all of your family and friends to be blown away when they get them in the mail =) yes they are that fabulous!
I bought the designs which are completely customizable for each family and session- I know you are going to love them b/c I think they go with my images perfectly!

Tomorrow is a full day of shooting for me and then some trick or treating with the family and then an awesome wedding at a theater on Sunday! busy weekend!

Saturday morning gave me a good workout!! which is good b/c I have been slacking in that department the last few weeks! As enticing as Zumba is... its hard to get myself there!
Large Family group pictures are always fun and entertaining... the key is to have patience and an attitude of fun- which Sarah displayed very well with her two toddlers! Baby Lawson just chilled out the whole time-he didn't have a clue as to what was going on! good times! look at the chunky little face! he has gotten so big since his newborn shoot I love this age and how wide eyed they are and un aware at the same time! such cuteness!talent and years of experience my friend.... look at Grandpa holding the two of them! I had the most fun taking these maternity pictures!! I love when the location is somewhere personal and meaningful to the client. We took these out at Nikki's dads house.. and I couldnt have been happier! there were so many fabulous places full of character that I could have used-it was litteraly 53 degrees... so I didnt take use of all of them. They were such great sports about braving through the cold and wind to get good natural light for their pictures. The Dr. is inducing her on Monday at 36 weeks.. your prayers are coveted that everything goes well and for the health of both mommy and baby Bella.

Yesterday I finally got to meet this beautiful little girl! i love her big blue eyes and that full head of hair... shes just the sweetest thing! check out the color scheme- i love it! pink, brown and green... very good choices so that they arnt too matchy! and pink always makes pictures pop! it was a little bright (although it was overcast) and cold for this little girl... she was all wide eyed and alert till we went outside..
I really liked this next picture b/c their dog is in the picture... Max was so cute.. kept coming to check me out since i was taking pictures of little Addy... so cute how dogs like to be protective =)they were telling me about her new found smiles... we finally got a good one when they were playing with her! look how shes pushing daddy away and laughing at mommy =)

Lisa, a little bit of a prorastinator contacted me about a month and half ago about shooting her wedding and I loved her the moment we met up...i believe we ended up talking for aprox. 2 hrs just about life and marriage and the like.. and then met up again to finalize everything and talked again for a couple of hrs! She has an amazing heart and I can see that her and John have a very special love for each other! thankfully saturday evening was so beautiful and perfect for an outside wedding and reception- Praise Jesus!! Lisa and John chose to have their day at the River Bend Nature Center. It was my first time to shoot there and I loved it! everywhere around there was perfect for pictures! I knew it was going to be a good day when Lisa had told me that her and John were thrilled to do a 'First Look' which gave us time to get some good shots of the two of them and give them a special moment to enjoy to themselves! so much fun!

loved, loved, loved her dress... lace is just so pretty and simple! and her shoes... how fun and different are these!?!also-cant say enough about her cake. done by the very talented Aunt Glenda. They always taste and look amazing! all around the 2nd layer it reads "failure is not an option" I love that! and i think it rings so true when going into a marriage... divorce is not an option- you make a commitment to work through things always! Now onto the 'First Look'... I cannot encourage brides enough to make the decision to see their groom before the ceremony ESPECIALLY when getting married at sunset or late in the evening... due to scheduling and so forth we had just enough time to get some good pictures of the two of them with the beautiful natural light before the ceremony... if youve ever wondered what it is and how it works the next few pictures lay it out perfectly..

bride about to walk towards him..we tell him shes there and he turns to look at her in a secluded area without 100 people gauking at him...and an embrace that you dont get to do in the middle of a ceremony...the next 3 images were shot by Lauren Miller who so graciously stepped in to help me with this wedding. I dont normally show my 2nd shooter's images but I thought this would really help you see 1) the importance of having 2 photographers and 2) the ability of us to catch both bride and grooms expressions as they see eachother.

This weekend has been packed full of picture goodness- at the moment I'm working on last nights wedding and about to go shoot a super fun engagement session, with another one on Monday...

I am thrilled to say that i am completely booked and a lil over booked for my weekends until the Christmas Special time frame is over. which means- all you procrastinators on getting me to do your family pictures for Christmas will need to open up a weekday evening!! call me asap because some of those are full too! Yesterday morning I had the funnest model! she is probably the most stylish 12 year old I have ever met! they brought some great props to play with including her favorite magazine , some bubble gum and of course bubbles! I love that at this age they still have that natural beauty before age starts making you think you have to pile on the makeup! she is so gorgeous and she can definetley pull off that 'fierce' look. I will start with where we ended because this is where they met.... N&T Billiards. Unfortunately they were closed so we didnt get to use any fun props =( They met through a friend and slowly it developed into a dating relationship and then became serious when Matt was moving off... I love how Erin is ready and willing to be an Army wife or as she calls it a mistress and that he is really married to the army =) Im so excited for them and I cant wait till their big day in May!

Malerie and Brennon were married Saturday night and it was oh so gorgeous! all the guests were asked to wear black and I loved the feel of the small backyard with only close family and friends gathered around and with all the twinkle lights and lanterns filling the night sky!! the wedding and reception were all outside and absolutely everything would have been perfect if it wernt for that pesky rain we had all night. God graciously waited till after the ceremony to down pour again and so then they had a blast dancing in the rain! In a small town its easy to know who everyone is... as a freshman Janssen had a huge crush on Craig his senior year of high school... quite a few yrs later after high school and college they meet up at a mutual friends wedding and get to talking. He asked her out on a date and she thought he was just kidding! and now they are getting married! =)
Sunday I made a trip out to Graham where I met up with this fabulous couple! We started out at the National Theater for their 'save the date' pics. Janssen is going with a 50's theme and I love what all we got with this fantastic car and the old theater. They are so in love and I absolutely can not wait till November 28th for their wedding in Ft Worth. They make my job so easy =)

Saturday evening was absolutely perfect for Johnna and Shane's wedding in Archer City. There was a little bit of a scare with rain chances but it couldn't have been a prettier day. The Royal Theater has never looked so fabulous decorated by the Clever Chicks. They did an outstanding job! I think my favorite part was the aisle way for the ceremony! loved it!

I have been looking forward to their big day for quite some time... their engagement/family shoot is one of my favorite still to this day and she rocked her bridal session just like i knew she would b/c she is such a beautiful lady in every way! I fell in love with her the day i was introduced to "Shane's serious girlfriend' so i knew their wedding would be nothing short of fabulous! They are perfect for each other and I know God is going to bless them abundantly as they walk this life hand in hand! Im so happy for them and so thrilled that I got to be a part of it!

funny story about this next picture =) This is their exit and im trying hard to keep up with them and i step into this huge pile of stickers and im too short to go over the railing so i had to go between- but luckily i got this one really good focused image while wanting to scream and dig out all the stickers in my feet because yes i was of course wearing sandles like i always do. they came out the back of the theater while guests went in for the reception so we started off with their pics back there... Shane was like what? in front of the dumpster.. i was like hey- the light is good and we are secluded... lets go with it =) every spare second they were embracing.. love it!

loved how he just had to be touching her... so sweet!they had a good ol' time at their reception- lots and lots of laughs!

This morning I met up with the Melton family even though it was pouring down rain and is continuing to rain all the day long. Im so glad we decided to still make it work! they were so much fun! and thankfully Shea knew just the place to go to still have some coverage from the rain! we mainly stayed under the porch and then there was a lighter drizzle so we played in the rain too! I love what we got of the cousins... its difficult to get 3 little ones to sit and look... so we didnt do much of that! i prefer lots of playing! dance, dance!

Last weekend was Aydin's 2nd birthday! hes growing up way too fast and Im not quite ready to give up the snuggles... On Labor Day we went out to see daddy working and took a few more 2 yr pictures in our cowboy getup. He loves his boots and hat!! hes the cutest little cowboy i know! Daddy got him on a horse and I was quit surprised he liked it so much... when we got out of the car he wouldnt even let me put him down because he was so scared from all the horses standing around.. but it must be the comfort of having daddy right there.

the rode around for atleast 30 minutes...so he was a little tuckered out..the saturday before Labor Day we had his birthday at one of his favorite places- Kiwanis Park. We managed to talk to the Wichita Falls Fire Dept into driving by and celebrating with us. I took pictures of all the kids with the truck and they all had a good time i hope! For his birthday I sent out postcards-so much cheaper than regular cards I found out... playing hard

I finally got to photograph this sweet beautiful family yesterday evening! i think we have been trying to plan it for at least a yr now... but persistence paid off and i LOVE what we got! my most favorite image first up- I love how candid it is... yes i asked them to walk towards me holding hands... but after walking a few steps they completely took on being themselves and the distractions that come with having little ones- in a good way of course! I love how little Hudson is looking down so as not to trip, dad is watching him, Maddie is in her own little world, and mommy looks down at her new one who is beginning to stir... i just want to blow it up and put it on a large canvas wrap for my studio! I was in shock when I saw this picture on my computer last night... her expression is so perfect and all the others in the series are fake smiling and shyly looking away..love it!

Its been such a joy photographing her over this past yr! she just keeps getting more beautiful! we had such a fun and easy shoot yesterday evening... so happy and independent- I love this age and their new found walking freedom! I mentioned to her mommy that I would like to see her walking down the middle of the street and she LOVED the idea! Im not a big Sex and the City watcher but one of her fav episodes is when one of them is walking down the middle of the street. (forget which one). I absolutely love how these turned out!

This weekend my father-n-law and sister-n-law came into town for the Hotter' n hell along with our new baby nephew! well not so new anymore... 3 months old! I cant believe this was the first time we got to see him! tickles and kisses

I know I got some family pictures done back in May but what can I say.. Im addicted to pictures! and my little baby is turning 2 this next weekend! My husband somewhat obliged and tried not to get too frustrated with me but this had to be one of the funnest family pictures we've done... b/c all we did was play for about an hr.
My goal was to capture some of the things we do ALL the time but that normally occur right before bed or just randomly in the morning or evening. tickles and kisses! I love them... well I take that back.. I do not like to be tickled- I hate it and scream bloody murder if Chris tries to tickle me!!! but Aydin loves it... he comes back for more and more and more! and my favorite thing is when we give nose kisses and big squeezes!
One of my besties and neighbor came with us to help me get some pictures of the three of us! she came to my last photography class and is really picking it up!
I love this picture.. I can just hear "tickle, tickle, tickle" when I look at it!

These kisses are all for me!My Aydin's sweet nose kisses are the best in the world!I had to get these taken before my baby is no longer a baby and wont stop long enough to get some of our lovin!! I need to do some actual 2 yr old pictures of him.. not sure when that will be though.. his birthday is this saturday and ive been a bad busy mommy... its so unplanned and unorganized!!

Little Lawson has arrived! and what beautiful baby he is and so well tempered! I didnt hear him cry one bit.. maybe a little bit of fussing-but he was hungry- so thats expected! This is my absolute favorite type of newborn shoot. The Berardi family welcomed me into their home and we took pictures of Lawson in his environment-which is so personal and sentimental! truly makes the pictures that much more meaningful! The first time I met with Jaci I knew I would love her and her family and that she would be one of my favoritest brides ever... why? becuase she wanted something different and she trusted me to give that to her. Her bridal shoot re fired my love for capturing people with a camera and put an assurance in my head of what I was striving for in my little business. I always enjoy each and every one of my photo shoots but there are few that really stick out and are exactly what I want in one. After going to The Workshop with Jasmine Star it just confirmed even more the type of brides and people I want to appeal to. She is fun, non-traditional, stylish and all around fabulous! Her wedding was nothing short of that. Dayna with Events By Dayna did an excellent job of coordinating the special day that everything went off without a hitch! I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and hope it wont be the last! Philip Combs Designs (having a hard time finding his info on the web) did such an incredible job on all of the decorations... they seriously took my breath away with the creativity and uniqueness of them. as you can probably tell by the pictures- I couldnt get enough of them! what a talented man! every bride should check him out. The Greystone Castle was amazing! I dont know how often they have weddings there but it was PERFECT for Jaci and Dusty! manly enough for a hunter such as Dusty but absolutely gorgeous for Jaci.

loved how Philip chose to wrap this with the grass... Jaci always has her own ideas- which I love! for the bridal shoot.. she brought all sorts of props and for the wedding she brought this amazing door for her dress and other detail shots... Jaci and her non traditional self told Dusty that if he bought her a string of pearls she would slap him with them ;) so he got her this gorgeous ring that had some pearls in it... It melted my heart to see how much Jaci loves her grandmother... Jaci's wedding rings were hers and I think Jaci would have loved for her to be in every picture! what a beautiful family of women! Im so thankful for Jaci's sister Jenifer for seeing one of my pictures and telling Jaci "you have to check her out" and for Jaci's mom Fleda for reminding me how great and influential my grandad was!the lucky guy! One of the most amazing things about having a wedding outside or at a venue other than a church is the angles I am allowed to get by having the freedom to move around a little.

Yesterday Jaci and Dusty were married and so today i get to post her amazing bridals..... her wedding was even more amazing! i cant wait to look through all the pictures and start editing and posting... so much goodness!!! so for now... enjoy how fun and beautiful Jaci is. This was the perfect bridal session... I would love to shoot one like this everday. willingness to be diferent and fun and not too worried about her dress and not having the restrictions of the big traditional dresses- love love loved it!!!
